Today I picked up an old Craven top case. It came with some odd mounting hardware used to mount the case on the usual Craven racks.
Here is a photo of a similar case with the same type of mounting hardware on the bottom of the case.

I am referring to the bottom right photo, with the round rubber bits and three small metal bits. Does anybody have any idea what the pieces on the rack that they attach to would look like?

Thanks,
Stephen Hill

Not seen that before, Craven supply their own version of Quick release for their pannier cases, this looks home made with the pair of U brackets

Nothing needed on the Vincent Craven luggage rack that this Fairline case would attach to. Traditionally there would be split rubber tubing put on tubular rack, rather than the big bumpers on case bottom.

My Craven top case has 3 little u shaped brackets with flats that hold the case onto the rack.

Yessssss, but Craven also made a couple of quick release Mechanical systems, they were in the old Craven catalogue.
