Removal of front indicator ‘wings’

Anyone noticed how the new bikes front inductors are fitted onto ‘wings’ that extend them out?

I assume this is some kind of regulatory requirement, and the stock indicators are so big and ugly anyway that it’s hardly noticeable!

But I got the factory to fit their neat LED indicators and with them, the wings looked proper daft.

So they have now been removed.

Much nicer eh?

Yep, I have a set of LED's to go on and also plan to remove those wings.

Chinese LEDS, short slim metal bodied chrome plated, dirt cheap, I wasn't sure of the brightness but they are excellent so I ordered a spare set. I also got one of those flasher relays off ebay whilst at it, tested that too and it works on led's, bulbs, or mixture of both.

I'm now 'wingless'

I'm not that picky when it comes to the indicators, but those are quite nice.
