Wiring Norton atlas

Hi I wiring the electric at Norton Atlas. Here is wiring digram that I designed myself.

First some explanations of what the numbers mean

1. Electronic ignition (Boyer).

2.Lucas 120W rectifier / regulator

3. Head breaker

4.Batteri

5.Break light contact

6.Heade light switch

7. Stator plate (boyer)

8. Single phase stator

9. Ignition coil

10. Ignition coil


Here are some questions. As you can see, a fuse is missing. Where would you place it? There is also a kill switch missing.

Where do you place it?

When it comes to Boyer as I understand it, a 12v supply to the box is needed. Is that right?

Referring to Atlas diagram, a fuse (15 amp rating US) in the link from the battery to the ammeter (wire NU) will prevent the battery from driving a short circuit. A fuse in the link from the alternator rectifier (wire NW) will prevent the alternator from driving a short circuit.

The charging system should connect to the battery side of the ignition switch. Otherwise you'll be able to start it but not turn it off.
