Hello all,

My Dad is working to put back together his 72 Combat, and the wiring harness is the biggest thing in the way....

He bought a new harness for it about 15 or 20 years ago, and its been sitting around a while. One rainy day we decided to see if we could make some progress on it.. We got out one of the shop manuals, and tried to match up some of the wires.. NO LUCK. Not even the simple things matched up, such as the turn signals.

So, I'm guessing he bought the wrong harness somehow, or the supplier gave him the wrong one. The bike is a June 1972 Roadster, US model. Would I need a harness for a 72 model or a 73 model? Can anyone suggest a good, inexpensive harness and a good wiring diagram? This bike is not for concourse, so the only thing that matters is that it actually works lol.

Can't wait to get this thing on the road.. It was painted a gorgeous pearl white, and NONE of these beautiful body parts have seen the light of day, let alone been mounted on the bike.

Thanks guys!
