Yes - all the MK3 diagrams are there - 36 in total!

There is a section on the website for each wiring configuration type:

When you click that configuration, you will subsequently see six different diagrams to cover the age of your Commando:
  • Pre-1971 (ammeter in the headlight shell and Wipac Tricon type handlebar switch)
  • 1971 (three wires to the master switch)
  • 1972 onwards (four wires to the master switch)
  • 1974 MK3 (Early)
  • 1975 MK3 (Original)
  • 1975 MK3 (Canadian Market)

There are so many diagrams now, that this is the only logical way to carve them all up!!!

Have a look through the website, you'll soon get the hang of how they are ordered.

Thanks Gents, apologies if I have the wrong end of the stick, but it's because the configurations I mentioned aren't in these Mk 3 lists that I was wondering if they could possibly be added?

These are not broken down into three different versions, but still may be of interest to some of you.

Reviving this thread to give a huge thanks to the contributors to this wiring thread and many others, plus the maintained sites for our benefit. I will be building a "custom" loom built around TriSpark offerings.

I will be pulling apart two looms - first, my old loom to lay out the wires as a proof of concept. Once I am happy with the model, I will strip my new AN purchased loom and build from the "old wire" model. My only question is the connectors and the caution about using the bullet end style.

Again, thank you for the work on this it is much appreciated!
 
my only suggestion is to eliminate as many of the bullet end connectors as possible, they constitute some of the often issues...

I will be pulling apart two looms - first, my old loom to lay out the wires as a proof of concept. Once I am happy with the model, I will strip my new AN purchased loom and build from the "old wire" model. My only question is the connectors and the caution about using the bullet end style.

By the time you remove the unwanted bits or runs that need to be better you might as well make a new loom from scratch with higher quality wire and bullets.

These new looms seem to be based on just enough to get the job done for the present with debatable bullet crimping and wire gauge. (strand count unknown)
This was a new AN sourced loom. (UK manufacture)

Removed. (power in and earth run to be upgraded/replaced)

All that was left to suit a Tri Spark Mosfet and single dual post PVL coil.

Making a loom is still on the cards and even with a quality crimping tool purchase viable.

With these changes my stock harness has numerous empty terminals and is beginning to look like a custom harness is in the in the near future.

Thank you very much. I can't wait to buy the materials and make the harness. With the color coding even my old eyes can easy see it.

Doing as you suggest means keeping the mass of connectors under the tank. I eliminate all of those and make most connections in the headlight shell. Also, the red wires in most looms run all over the place doubling back multiple times. It will be a nightmare trying to use them in model.
