Put on another license tag mount from an antique car scrap then decided to keep going before frost hit so dug out ole Peel's all weather National brand tall wide with lowers screen and got er done too. Its got to stand harsh shocks of THE Gravel travel and minor drops which it had quite well but its mounting hardward couldn't so made up some more from shoe box bin of also failed variety of various lessor shields. Too cold and far away from water to clean years of storage off so though the contrast would show it its coverage better anyway. oh yeah it don't matter in fall if I close shop doors and rear tarp or not they just blow under the eves, this way they mostly blow out in the stroms and don't stay soaked from floor flooding. I leaf blow before major projects like Trixie when leaves mostly stay on trees.
I am able to peer over the top by 2" wind free but it does hit top of helmet, which I can't really tell expect I've reached around to see where the blast was going. Mostly just some eddies whip around to my jacket back if I sit back too far. I block with tap/foam the gap that blows past head light. I find I get too chilled to sit on a bridge in 20's so get rolling again in such still air I light cigs at 80 plus no problemo. I may yet have to mount the extra hand grip shields but Trixies bars are a bit narrower than long horn Peels. I'm vaping now so no flamo.
