The long winter is bringing boredom and Norton withdrawal. So therefore some un-necessary fettling was needed. Bill from Rocky Point fixed me up with a lever kit for the Mikuni. It looks very cool and no more reaching under the tank.
Doing anything to the Norton is a whole lot more fun than dealing with the Kawasaki I am working on.

Difference to me is like working under hood of a small cars clutter or functional sculpted art deco. Main thing I liked about Miki carbs was could use the cute Norton Brit Iron choke bar lever for a good reason.

Although our winter in Vancouver BC hasnt been anything like most of North America and the UK have experienced, it has been wet and gloomy. I caved in and headed for Maui. The only thing missing is a Norton. Might even rent a bike, which will most likely be a Harley of some sort. Norton rentals are not showing up on my google search :D

Hey Glen, make sure you hit the rootsy side of the island. Don't stay anchored in Lahaina or Kihei. Good food over in Paia and views in Haiku. The Ono sandwich at the Paia fish market is great! So jealous, have a blast!

Thanks snort. The budget only allowed for rental of a cruiser bicycle. I've set up postcards in the front spokes 180 degrees apart,. This produces a scaled down Norton sound. :D
