Will 750 Atlas barrels fit the Commando

Hi, will Atlas cylinder barrels be OK for the Commando, cheers, David

The short answer is it depend what parts you have got. Early Atlas cylinders (up to about mid 1966) had a spigot and a corresponding head with a round grove for the said spigot. Later ones were flush, as where the heads;

Atlas barrels also have smaller diameter fixing bolts, although it is easy enough to drill and tap the holes larger.

I realize the OP asked about the "barrels".
Bernard posted the URL for my NHT head page and thank him for only posting the URL, and not data from the page.
Having just returned from the national rally where I finally saw in person, a specific head that I have only heard of in a one time forum discussion.
I will try and promptly update my web page to include this heads details that may be appropriate to this atlas aspect of this commando discussion.
