Well, my Mum informed me today that we motorcyclists actually have a patron saint.
He is St. Columbanus (540 - 615AD), an Irish monk/missionary who was often on the road.
This love of the open road inspired the Rev. John Oliver (1935 - ), an Anglican bishop and biker, to suggest St. Columbanus as the patron of motorcyclists (not sure when this happened)
He actually looks a bit like a fourth member of ZZ Top below.
