Definitely a different take on the Triton!

Looks like a 70s Triumph frame & front end with custom dual disc, Commando lump & rear wheel, Ranger mufflers, mid 60s Norton tank and modern Bonnie seat.

Can't quite tell how they incorporated the tranny cradle without isolastics...

I like it.

Is that a Norumph decal on the tank....
Would have interesting to catch up with the owner, and ask if it shakes ?

Thanks for pic.

Looks like they've done a nice job whoever it was. Probably re-balanced the crank to suit rigid mounting I would think?

Great looking bike !
Wonder if it's one of the very late T140 AV frames.
The cops here had a couple of T140 AVs in the early 80's , when I asked what they thought of the bikes, they weren't complimentary. (to put it mildly)

I don't think its an AV frame Sam, the swinging arm looks like its mounted solidly in the standard position, whereas the AV it had a pivoting type arrangement.

And whilst looking at the swinging arm mounting position it makes me realise that the stock frame mounts solidly to the engine at either end of the swinging arm spindle, stiffening the plot up a lot. Even so, the flex between swinging arm and spine frame causes the swinging arm lug to crack where its welded to the spine... So whilst I don't want to be picky about such a good looking bike, this set up will place much more stress on the swinging arm to frame spine join.
