What have we learned?

What is something you learned that made your 961 experience better?

Mine was the lambda delete. Among other things but that one I’m grateful for.

Loud pipes and run it without an air filter. Sounds tonnes better, thus a more satisfying experience.

Note;

The characters, names and events in above comment maybe fictional. Any resemblance or similarity to any actual configurations, entities or persons, whether living or dead is entirely coincidental ;)

Plus get the oil into airbox thing sorted. Had a full recall & service on my 2015 bike last week. Now I have lots more breathers, a labyrinth seal and a catch bottle!

Hi BPJThornton , Have you really removed the air filter element and riding around that way ?

Hi , Can you tell us more about the more breathers ? I understood that most of the hoses and such going to the rocker cover were removed and now crankcase vents direct through the air/oil separator to air box. In a way it seemed more simplified this way. Is there something new now ? Did they replace your oil pump too or just add the one way valves ? thanks
