Weird stanchion length

I won an auction on Ebay in England a while ago, a pair of fork legs for early Commando or maybe Atlas, not sure. It´s for drumbrake and they were complete even though the stanchions will go in the bin. But I managed to pull everything apart dispite rust and other muck, and no threads were damaged, feels great. Now about the stanchions, they are 24 15/16" long....I´ve read a lot of threads on different forums and other places, never seen that length. The closest is something called "hybrid" that´s supposed to be 25" long, but they have threads that hold the lower bushing, mine don´t, they look just like any Road holder stanchions. Custom made?
