In case anyone cares - my little Norton Workshop Companion website is back up. I was running on an old version of Joomla which was compromised by hackers apparently out of China. My ISP took it offline and cleaned it up, but I needed to migrate to a newer, more secure version of Joomla. The Joomla developers didn't exactly make it an easy move, so it took me a while. I think most of what I had is back up. Maybe I'll even add more to it at some point. Anyway, hopefully some folks will get something out of it.

Pretty cool David, hope they let you keep the factory manual logo. I miss the green globe that used to show up here. I've stopped at you site prior and impressed by the organization and photo's. I've got video of razor blade fitting of rod shells if that fits anywhere.

I can probably link to it if its on YouTube or something. If its not there, upload it and send me the link.

Ugh, my vivid memory on 1st razor blade fitting was only a photo. Webshots evaporated and ain't put back in public yet. Anywho I sure didn't expect or want to learn that hand fitting level of Commando's nor having to invent some of my own. Manual should of come with a subscription to on going appendix series with error corrections, faulty fit corrections, fussed fastener corrections, non existence part initial substitutes' corrections, plus the hardware, carpentry and construction to kitchen and dental type tools to beg barrow or steal. Your efforts will stay as long as the web and grid does.
