VIP Image upload sizes

I have changed the allowed size for image uploads for VIP members. This is the max allowed size:

Total 3 MB per an image
Max width 1200 px
Max height 1000 px

Please could you try to resize your images to 1200 pixels wide prior to uploading.

I need to update this thread as things have changed. First thanks to Tornado for alerting me about this.
I have tweaked the image upload settings. Now you (VIP) can upload large images and the forum/ server will automatically resize them to a realistic size. You should not see that error any more unless your images are over 20MB.

Now I can change my phone camera settings back to max quality captures! No need to keep flipping back to low qual mode for AN uploads...life is good:p

I ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY use 1000x750 for landscape, and 600x800 for portrait format pix, and my editing software almost universally results on under 100K file size. However, when i post up, the images immediately are shrunken to approx 640x480 which aren't nearly as nice to look at...

Please can you try again. We had an issue.

If it still wont upload email me the pic and the steps you are doing to upload it so I can check it out. The upload width needs to be 1600px max.

I was able to link the photo from Flickr but not paste it directly. I've done that in the past.

Oops! We ran into some problems.
The uploaded file is too large for the server to process.

It does however upload if I click Attach files.

Please can you let me know the exact steps you are doing before you see that error? This image you added here is not too large.
 
This image is 1037x598, and is 107KB file size. Let's see how it displays...

I was searching the other day on how to post photos as a vip member but had little success could someone point me in the right direction I’ll get me kids to help
