I'm interested in mounting on a 750/850 Commando the following bags:
Viking Lamellar Large Leather Shock Cutout Hard Saddlebags
Here's a link to the bags on their website:

They show installation on a Harley but the shock angle appears to be very similar to Commandos so it may work. If they will fit they would allow the bags to come forward without going very wide. They are about 25 litres each bag.
I don't think the supplied brackets will suit but could either:
1. modify some as o0norton0o did for his Givi V35s in thread:
Givi V35 hard bag mounting brackets (PLX style)
or...
2. use universal brackets as TonyA has on his 961 in thread:
TonyA's Engine Rebuild - post#70
Anyone tried them or know someone who has?
