I much prefer to see old motorcycles being used in that way, rather than in historic road racing. Even though classic road racing is my thing. Historic road racing was supposed to preserve old road racing machines, however it never did that. It simply destroyed a lot of old road bikes which should have been kept pristine or restored. I built my road racer out of parts - I did not chop a good road bike to go road racing.
