Does anybody know where i can purchase a Veglia Trip reset please in the UK. it goes on the underside of the instrument

does this part look the same?

The spindle is approximately 3.0mm diameter and 2.25mm across the 'flats'.

An original T160 Smiths (SSM 4004/00) speedo (or RSM 3006/00 rev counter) won't have the mounting studs.

Veglia clocks

My Mk3 came with plain Veglia clocks which work ok but do have some minor damage to the bezels. First question is would it be possible to have them rebuilt with wiggly worm faces when new bezels are fitted. I have a spare set of T160 wiggly worm clocks that I bought off eBay when I came home...

I have a Veg . With reset stick intact in a bag at home but can't see it because we are in fishland catching giant jacks and barras so proceed .
 
In My case....The problem with the Veglia clocks is that the odometer is accurate but the MPH speed is out -14 mph as per GPS readings (with the ones that were on my 74). I guess it would help for speed traps.;) Loss of magnatism....maybe?
Do others have the same problem?
I don't trust the tach either, so I switched out to smiths.
The Smith’s are more accurate and I have them on now.
The trip meter was handy though.... especially for a roaster tank. to gauge time to fuel.
With the interstate tank your butt and knees would tell you to get off for a break. lol

Good point, my Ducati's speedo is off what GPS reports. Fortunately, it's about +5 mph, so not worrisome.
I'll have to check my 850 Veglia speedo vs GPS this riding season. I just don't have a mount for the Garmin or phone.
