cool blog- nicely done!

I started a blog on two different occasions but realized that I spend so much time riding that there wasn't much left
to devote to doing it correctly, so both times it was abandoned.

Our riding season is pretty short, so there is plenty of time to write.

I also have another special project due soon so my riding time will be severely limited this year. So even more time to write.

Brilliant. I like the "Commando" front drum Suzuki brake at center front.

Not a fan of the neo-cafe. It is pretty much a fashion movement.

How do you come up with the Grimeca 4ls as being "exotic"? It was used initially on Moto-Guzzi touring bikes. It is no more exotic than a Suzuki 4ls, consumer garbage and it is surely the heaviest 4ls available. Ever heard of an Oldani or Fontana? Things that were not mass produced ? that is my definition of "exotic".

You said it all with the statement "Since a Triton is usually an attempt to mimic the great Manx racer". Great definition for the present day Tritons and the neo-cafe movement.

Originally the Triton was a way to build a cheap but fast racing motorcycle, "mimicking" a look was not what it was about at all.....

Good catch, I had pics of both and you have to admit they look a little similar.

Very, very cool blog Dave 8) I would have to pick the "yellow submarine" production racer as my ultimate Norton as well. (The one with the yellow sidecovers.) Your bike is sweet ... and btw, have you considered painting the gas tank yellow ???

Dave - enjoyed looking over the blog site. Being of an age such that blogging and response are not second nature, I was unable to decipher the code for responding on your blog site - apparently one has to register with some other server or some such. At any rate - watched your "first ride" video, and thought of this photo that I downloaded some years ago of a BSA rider in vintage regalia. If you are going for the production-racer look, you could do worse than mimic this protection gear. Your beard will look great with this outifit !

I've been a little sick lately so the blog hasn't been updated until today. I'll try to load up a few posts and released them every day or at least on some sort of regular basis. Hopefully you'll like the next few, they will hopefully stir up some comments.
