I think it was Brent (Bwolfie) who told me he turned the rear drum in his lathe. I like to know how you chucked it up.
My lathe has a 12" swing. I would assume you use a boring bar?

It was an exercise on making it work. 2 centers clamping the bearings and stub axle and the drum paddles against the jaws. Then finding a bit to clear it all.

The machinist I hired to do it had to make a spindle dealio to enable my Atlas rear brake drum to be chucked up; added to the cost, of course.
