Tuning Keihin FCR 35mm carbs

I received my carbs a fair while ago from CNW, finally bolted them on a few days ago. I would like to know what settings those on the forum are using for their bikes? Which needle clip slots and turns for air screws etc etc.

Have searched the forum and found a little information but I want to dig a little deeper as on the first ride after bolting on(only 10km to test), I returned home with the bike running rough and the plugs fuel fouled and sooty black, too rich! Replaced with new plugs & running fine again like when first kicked after bolt on.

Before I adjust the original settings I thought it would be a good idea to see how differently people have set them
