Triumph tacho drive

Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as a blank off for the tacho drive on 76 bonnie and if so where can i get one Brian
 
Yes, there are tach drive blanking plugs.

Believe it or not, you can find a suitable plug at most Lowe's hardware stores.
 
Not familiar with Lowes over here, what is this blanking plug you speak of and what is its normal use
 
Oops. Lowe's is a national chain of home imrovement centers.

the blanking plug is basically just a bolt with fiber washer.

I think the blanking plug you need is: Triumph part 21-1871 "Tachometer drive plug" This is LEFT HAND thread. (and O ring 37-3761)

No doubt you will be familiar with Grin Triumph in Scotland
