I want to fit some Thruxton tappet blocks to a set of T140 barrels, but I don't know the angle they sit at in order to get the barrels bored to suit.
Does anyone have a drawing or any other useful info?

I'm more of a Commando guy than Triumph, but your question intrigues me. Wouldn't the Thruxton tappet blocks just be fitted at the same angle as the original T140 blocks? You do need longer pushrods with the shorter Thurxton tappets, but I don't think you change the angle of the tappet blocks. Maybe I just misunderstood your question. (Or maybe I just don't know much about Triumphs!).

I'll check my Kim the CD Man discs, but I don't think I've seen engineering drawings of the cylinders, to compare from...

You're right about the pushrods - they also have a ball at the bottom and the follower has a socket (i.e. opposite to standard).
The blocks fit at the same angle as the originals, it's just that I don't know what angle that would be

I was considering making a mandrel to locate on the original spigot, but my machinist would prefer Engineering Data, and I don't blame him!
