I have a stock of the new Tri-Spark MOSFET-based Rectifier/Regulator. This replaces your bridge rectifier and Zener diode and can be used with single- or 3-phase stators. Read about them here: https://www.trispark.com.au/mosfet-20-amp-voltage-rectifier-regulator

Order direct from Tri-Spark at today's exchange rate and you'll pay around $104+$18 USD shipping. Here only, you'll pay $80+shipping. On eBay, I'll list them for much more.

It's a PITA to ship outside the US and Canada so I would rather not.

What would be advantage over 3 phase with Podtronics? Running Lucas 3phase from Trispark that came with Podtronics. They seem to be about same size. Podtronics does get pretty warm. Ah yeh, what about warrantee?

I wouldn't take out a 3-phase PODtronics that was working to put this in. They do run cooler and can be mounted out of the air flow, they produce about 20 watts more usable power, and they don't have the noise issues of the PODtronics high-power box.

For my rebuilds, these are all I'm using now but I'm not removing PODtronics to install these.

They have a 2-year warranty.

Been testing one for a while now, I'm with Greg, the only one I would fit.
Way more efficient than Podtronics, 14.3V at tickover using Single phase stator. Green light on BSM on my MK3 even at night with full beam on using an LED H4 bulb. Better and slightly smaller fitting envelope, and cheaper and smaller than Shengdegen? Version.
They also come with a capacitor.

Interesting. Does it have a built in Capacitor? Not stated in the web page details linked by Greg.

Andover's website says it has a built in capacitor, RGM website says it eliminates the capacitor and trisparks website doesn't mention the capacitor, as my latest project is a basket case MK3 I am listening to as much info as I can take in, do I wire in a capacitor?

I have mine wired in with a capacitor. In the installation manual it says, "The Tri-Spark Voltage regulator replaces the rectifier and zener diode - these components should be
disconnected and removed as part of the installation."

It doesnt say it replaces the capacitor.

I'm as sure as I can be right now that there is no capacitor built-in, but I have asked Tri-Spark the question.

Here are a couple of things to consider. A capacitor is not required. It's only there on a Commando for kick starting a bike with a dead battery. Having more than on capacitor is fine.

I have a TriSpark and the original Lucas capacitor. I have never tried to start it without a battery. Will TS start and run the engine w/o the battery?

I got an answer from Tri-Spark. While it does have a small capacitor, it does not in any way replace the capacitor installed in a Norton.

There is a recent large thread about this and other things. I have kick started a 1974 850 Commando with a disconnected battery and a capacitor. I believe that the capacitor I use has more capacitance than the original (I use 10,000uf). Bump starting on a hill with any decent capacitor will work.
