This is the TCB home but better prices found in Harley catalogs.
Ms Peel will need two of em to save me anus sphincter muscle mass budging over exercising on steep dry downhill Gravel or wet grass whoa with sharp bend and cattle or tree falls at the bottom. [besides Peel's roddage and Roadholders out performing best race bikes in serious fast furious dangerous harsh no let off accelerating cornering, Peel also had advantage out braking too. Believe it on Not > its life/death fact to me so catch up when ya can] {{NO Way on God's Green Earth can I get away with this on sports bikes or my 2 regular great functioning everything Combats} So much so I've killed off about everything Norton in one of them never looking back... Except for art deco Lockheed caliper, as so so much fun to snap up them hi hp fat tired sports rigs that just seem like slowly trolled colorful shiny plastic lures to Ms Peel when any leaning conditions involved. Ms Peel should stop even quicker safer if she didn't ride a few bike lengths on locked front tire, but I need a seat belt to stop much harder as is - on dry pavement > don't here about them angry looking buzzy insects mentioning they stop so hard they get thrown over bars no matter how hard they resist it ahead of time but its a danger on Ms Peel I'm not sure there is a solution except to velcro my butt to saddle. I do no shift myself One Iota out of centered locked in place posture when getting it on in Peel and No Way on God's green Earth can a human hang on to those kinds of G's nor switch sides as fast as Peel does.

I can't wait for a report from you. Of course it won't work on a stock Lockheed as there's no banjo at the caliper.

Ugh, that little detail can be worked around, likely by Teeing in at the master cylinder light switch or in line somehow or maybe I already have this with the rubber hose? I got way more tales and sagas involving braking than throttle so may ask company to make one to thread in the caliper. A commando can stoppie, if the pavement is sloped enough and truck grill close enough, but they don't do it gracefully but swap ends so much ya can't catch the tip over or fully swaps ends you can't stop the crash. On less extreme conditions my simple mods make it hard to stay in saddle So remember the hobot for 3 rods, 2 fork spacer springs and 1 big hole in factory brake re stricter.

I don't know, 'bot - the thing sounds like oil of snake to me. I read a couple of tests -NOT the ones published on the product's site - and the results were pretty much like this one:

"My own test-ride with the unit installed left me with the opinion that the TCB brake system is a bit like a Jewish mother’s chicken soup when you’re sick: it might not help much, but it doesn’t seem to hurt either - which was my main concern. "

THe writer, above, found that it did nothing to avoid lockups as far as he could tell. http://www.thebikergene.com/modificatio ... g-systems/

Most of the favorable reviews are of the "I know I would have locked the brakes if I didn't have 'em" type. There are also the "I can tell it works better" reviews but without actual testing stopping distance/feel under some sort of controlled conditions.

I worked for years building performance auto engines and it was really common to have someone tell you about a mod they made and that they could feel a huge improvement - only to find on the dyno or track that they had REDUCED the performance. I wouldn't waste the money...

One of my favorites back in my engine building days was a guy who put on a pair of Cherry Bomb mufflers and was amazed at how much more responsive and "freer revving" his car was. We put it on the dyno and found the car had 13HP LESS with the Cherry Bombs than with the stock mufflers. ;) As the old saying goes, "Louder is faster!" My point is that if there's no objective data from someone OTHER than the maker to go with this sort of stuff, I don't believe a word of it.

You could do what we always did on the racetrack for the rear brake. Loosen the line and let in a little air. Presto- no more rear brake induced crashes. Jim

Cool idea if it works. If not maybe major consequences. I saw that 360 brake is no longer made because it was locking up and causing accidents. Don't know if I would trust anything brake-wise from a small or new manufacturer. Will be interesting to see your testing report though.

C'mon! Really? A Harley with too much brake??

I want all the brake I can get.

Ok Mike, Ron and big jawed seabird : ), I think you make perfect sense to avoid extra gizmo and can modify feel by the type hose and/or air bubble, if I ain't good enough to just modulate brakes as needed by practice and panic events. Ugh the crashing part using brakes is a real sore point to me, no more please. If I'm not up to lock up brake practice on my own terms in good places then I'm not up for real fast dangerous riding that day and know not to tempt fate till I'm up to the scary braking sometimes needed when going fast into the unknown.
