top end on!

Finally after a half hour of cussing and swearing the god of motorcycles for inventing the norton top end, I succeeded in getting the thing put together. I have to go and get some different bolts for the head steady because the heli coils put in are a different thread than stock. So Sunday or Monday I can get the rest put back together. I only hope this doesn't have to be done again anytime soon. Thanks to all for any input you gave to inspire the confidence needed to do this again.

Good job!! Glad you got it done. I put mine on at least 5 times last week, just for practice. I got pretty good at getting the rods in and out. Mine is on and torqued also.

Good on you to feel like a real motorcycle mechanic. BTW what took ya so long?
It still can me too long too d/t them rocker ends tangling with pushy rods.
