Yes that's how Commando's fold up and maybe inspiration for the Transformer video.

The cheapest bike out of the Norton MK 3's went for $21 K and the most expensive $23k at the auction my first MK 3 cost me $1900.00 AUD on the road guess thats life, Norton Dave .

My old boss that the Norton shop in OKC had saved a MKII. It was not in the crate but had 3 miles on the odometer and all the stickers and warnings. It had never been serviced. He also had an "as new" unit Gold Star a couple of Triumphs including a Hurricane and a most interesting AJS with an Indian Chief engine shoe horned into it. (It looked really good too.) All these bikes and a huge inventory of parts were sold to DomiRacer after his partner died.
