Gents, on Sunday Sept 28th the 'Distinguished Gentlemans Ride' is carried out all over the world by motorcyclists in aid of charity. Its for prostate cancer, so if youre anything like me and around my age (Im 48), its something you hope never to deal with.
The website is www.gentlemansride.com
Im registered for the London ride and Ill be on the 961, complete with waistcoat, tie, pipe and monocle...
If anyone want to give to the charity or sponsor me personally my user designation is Dozer and the instructions are on the website. Better still, register and get your own sponsors and come along for a great day out. In London there are usually 400 or so bikes, its great to stop London traffic for an hour or so...
By the way, the organisers love the 961s....

Ha! I've just posted a similar thing in the events section!

I was going to come to London, but blasting down the M40 in a tux doesn't sound fun...

Then I saw there's a ride in Oxford, bingo!

So I'll be doing the Oxford ride.

Anyone fancy joining either of us? It's fun, its an excuse to get the bike out, and its in a good cause...

I hear there doing compulsory digital examinations prior to start... Are you up to date with your checkups???
