I am overwhelmed by the the messages and support I have had.

I will not desert you because of some idiot.

Andy

Great to hear Andy, your knowledge of all things chain is legendary :D

You've got to remember it takes all kinds.

Mr Leadbeater knows some interesting stuff, but he's a bloody strange bloke.

+1.......Well, I had read the other "can you believe I limped home on that" thread when it first appeared, but as it expanded I kind of skipped over it, since my time for being on the forum was limited. However I have been traveling lately and had more time on my hands, so I opened the other thread and caught the tail end of the posts (I'm not going to scroll back to read the controversial post) instead I would just like to add here that I have one of your chains for my cam drive and it is a quality item for sure. I have plans to replace my primary triplex chain with one of your IWIS duplex ones on my MKlll. I am glad that you make them easily available to us Andy. Thanks, Cj.

Hi Andy

Glad you are staying here with us and not be put off by some wanker, you are a trusted person trying to help us keep our bikes on the road with your chains, I remember when I ordered a new chain from you you were going away the next day so you sent it to me to Australia even before you sent the invoice, I got the invoice about 2 weeks after I recieved the chain, not to many poeple would do that, you be a big lost if you did leave us, I also want to put one of your duplex chains on my primary soon .

Thanks again

Ashley

Andy, you do a great job. I have two of your drive chains that I use on my 73 850. I run them for a thousand miles and then swap them over, cleaning the one that comes off. I have done almost three thousand miles on them. They have not needed adjustment at all. The armchair theorists can theorise all they like but it's the end user actually using the product that determines it's worth.

bit off topic but thinking of drive belts. My grandfather used to wear irons on his legs because of polio [ Forrest Gump stuff ] and before the War [ WW I ] he was a young banker, and he used to ride a belt [ leather ] driven Douglas.

Andy, its hard to deal with ijits so best not to bother. We know who they are and when they start ranting. I just hate it when I see some poor bloody novice getting bombarded by bullshit.
