On the post to do with strobing by ones self, L.A.B. gave the suggestion to use rubber under the center stand (he has a rubber mat throughout his shop) to keep the bike in place while revving and sometimes revving high. It's a greeat tip when it comes to adjusting the bike while it is running. Thanks for the tip L.A.B.

At our first Rally (British Motorcycle Owners Association of Houston, Texas), in 1986 or so. Since most of us had Commandos, we had "centerstand races" in the field events (you lined up the stands on the starting line, finish line was about 7' behind you, get off your bike and rev the hell out of it). Centerstand races were a big-hit!

That's a great idea. I think I need to go pick up a rubber mat. The last time I set the timing on my 850 the bike walked back a good three feet!

I don't think 3' is enough to win the race.
