There are hundreds of broken links here at the forum. Some of the broken links are due to expired pages, for example links to old craigslist expired ads. Some of the broken links are due to members making mistakes. Some of the broken links are due to when we changed the forum platform last year.
I am looking for a temorary moderator to help Les and I sort these links out. I need you to be able to understand if its an old link that can be removed completely (example 404 page). Or perhaps the link is going to another thread on the forum that is now broken (since we moved to a new platform), in which case research is needed to find, update and correct the link rather than delete it.
I have written a script to find all the broken links, so we know where they are. If you feel you are able to assist and would like to, we would appreciate it. I would interview real quick first to make sure the technical ability is there.
We have a similar issue with the broken image links and that is even worse. That will be next.
I am afraid there is no money. I can send you a T shirt and give recognition here.
Thanks for helping us keep the forum going and these bikes on the road,
Cheers
Jerry
