Looking at the various models there are several different fuel tank designs and each having its own design/style of seat.
How much of an issue does it cause to say putting a Roadster seat against an Interpol tank... and so on??

Not sure, but I would think there is a gap between roadster seat and Interpol gas tank. A good seat fit for the Interpol which is the same fit as longrang fastback tank is the fastback seat without the “ears”. Look online at Leightons in England for that seat. MAybe Andover Norton also shows it.

Sorry not gap. It would net the opposite. The roadster seat would fit too far forward.

It also depends on the particular type of "Interpol" tank as early Interpol were modified Atlas while later Interpol tanks were Interstsate type.

The Interpol tank based on the Atlas tank is in between the length of a Roadster and an Interstate tank, the easier one to convert is the Interstate seat, you move the mounting ears about 2" back, Fastback LR tank is the same minus radio cutout. Interpol's also came with Interstate tanks so no need for playing around on that version.

My Interpol tank is rotted out, it looks like the only new tanks are for the "roadster" variant, so if i fit a Roaster tank & Roadster seat they should marry up correctly?
