Most people will know about Mike Hailwood and the 1978/1979 Ducati at the IOM (He was living in New Zealand back then)
It was a fast bike but the much later and much modified Vee Two (un) beveldrive was making around 120 HP. (Paul Lewis at Daytona era)
I got Brook Henry to do an engine for me in the 1990's (905cc Bevel) later fitting 41 FCR's, over 80RWHP and 9000rpm made for a very nice road bike.

I didn't know Steve Wynn had been a Norton agent.

They (Sports Motorcycles NZ) do a really nice fork damper conversion for Marzocchi forks,I met Glynn (his engineer) at Hampton Downs race track in NZ about 2 years ago and he gave me a demo of the damping kit most impressed ,a very clever bloke.

Steve lives a few roads away from me and across the road from my Daughter [ in our terms of course ]. Believe the ad he gives the Bay Of Islands area. Its all true. You can just about ride for an hour without stopping or slowing down much. The coastal roads are narrow and windy. [ Windy as well cause it does blow here as well, when its not training,. Joke. }
