Could someone please measure the length of their standard twistgrip please as I have a quick action tomaselli fitted which doesn't offer much control on the tight twisties. The reason is that I have very little handlebar available as the master cylinder is on as far as it will go touching the top yoke. I need the length to the end of the plastic for the grip as i have a mirror fitted so the grip is cut off. Thanks.

I get right about 5" total form brake side grip's flat flange face to the slightly flared bar end.

I'm dealing with similar on Peels tall-ish off road bars and bark busters with extra wide all in one switch unit but think I've compromised so lever angle reachable and still clears stuff. After my SuVee backed over by a gal in a hurry i was able to fit a spare set of bars by cutting shorter so cables fit but left an inch of unsupported rubber on LH grip so craved a broom handle extension-plug that actually survived dog crash hit on it that bent bars into tank - again. Bent em back so only moderate kink near the riser but does allow clutch lever use again with 2" popped of the lever from crash landing. Hope you can fiddle yours to fine function on side that must twist grip.
