Anyone know of a good SS cleaner? My Motad pipes were stained during the first oil change at MCC (my favorite dealership  ). Nothing I've tried seems to work.

Stainless Steel?

Mothers with superfine steel wool works very well and quickly (although on a SS system on a short stroke '62 ES2 rather than your modern 961s)
Heat and discolouring doesn't recognise age however

With what I suggested, you can do all the metals on your. Bike. Engine covers, levers, exhaust. Once or twice a year. Its ph neutral so it doesnt start oxidizing immediately after use like most brands do so they can sell more product.

Cool! :D

Is your silencer actually yellowing? If so, kind of wish I'd rethought the shorties. Or is that just a reflection? Also, is the mapping #91 for the shorties? That's what I'm using for the SBN long pipes. I assumed they are not being made anymore. Allstate is getting me a new set do to minor rash.

Ive switched back and forth between 091 and 077. 091 is better all around. But 077 is faster. 077 has starting issues for me. I'm not convinced the best map is yet available. Ive not seen stains in shorties in real life. Must be reflection.

Thanks RIchard. I currently have 91. I'll never go back to 77. Starting issues, stalling when hot and 2400rpm when hot. All that pretty much disappeared with 91 even though I get a little quirk here and there.

I don't believe so. It could easily be a reflection. The stain made by oil running down the length of the pipe almost seems inert. I hate to see it! :x I haven't tried steel wool - maybe that's the way to get down to it.

Reminder to self: Cover pipes when draining oil.

It wasn't me! I am way too careful to make such a mess. I believe they stained while MCC was installing the silencers because oil or whatever it was would not flow up hill. :(
