Hello, can anyone please tell me the spoke length for disc brake front wheel with 19 inch rim. Thanks ..... Richard

Four different spokes inside, outside, disc and non-disc sides. Not home right now, I'll check tomorrow if you don't have answer. I'm sure LAB will have an answer by then.

yep 4 rows each its own length. I've left over facotry spokes off each end I donate some to broken spoke friends but see no reason to measure them whether a few to replace or buying new set so will let L.A.B. do his thing or google it to check L.A.B. measures adhead of time.

I got set of spokes also nipples an rims from Central Wheels the front spokes were four different set of ten but the lenght of the bent end was a little more than original. They did fit ok but if you are only changing the odd spoke it would look out of place. Having said that many of the old spokes were not correct lenght (filed flush to nipple) or correctly bent. Oh the joys of bodging previous owners :D

They were ground flush like that from new. This is normal procedure after truing to keep the spokes from puncturing the tube.

Anyone need wire spokes for a MK 3 can have mine (for postage from AUS)
they'd clean up alright for chroming etc and I have no use for them
Central spokes are definitely the ones to deal with for new ones. They sent me the wrong nipples but fixed that up and did not want the others back
Just be sure you specify exactly what you want as there is heaps of variations between models
The year and model should be enough sor them to go on provided the wheel is standard

Has anyone asked why they would put an excessive offset in to suit the brake rotor ?

Might be the same reason why they changes the side the disk is on (MK3) in order to even things up
Who knows the engineer at the time might have been a boat builder in a past life?

The considerable amount of hub offset is necessary so the disc-side spokes clear the Norton Lockheed caliper. If the original caliper design had been narrower-or the fork legs moved further apart, then the wheel wouldn't have required so much offset.

Thanks for all your help here, was going to source spokes locally but decided on CW kit.
Putting Norton disc brakes, front and rear, onto a Series 2 Enfield hoping to get it to stop before it hits things

That sounds tricky. CW usually require a sample to match but if it's a custom job it could be hit or miss
Good luck
