Hi, I had bought a set of Spiro pro ht leads with their plug caps , to fit with my Pazon Altair , onto a 5 Ohm Dynatek coil, now the question, they are supposed to be 350 ohms /foot, and suitable to protect electronic ignitions against RFI, so are those 350 ohms enough (mine are actually 500 ohms) as we should "normally" put a 5000 ohms (5k) plug cap ..........?

Solid copper wire is recommended for Brit bikes as it resists the vibration, carbon HT leads fail, not sure Silcone leads would be any better. You need EMF protection for any digital ignition like the Altair .

Need to measure total R with the plugs and caps and leads to know where to keep the R factor and where to remove it with copper and non R items to land in ball park the ignition can tolerate. Vibration is definitely a buggaboo on conductors and terminals. Takai Racing has the best HT leads I've seen. Otherwise check out Moss Motors and other Brit Iron car vendors for the Bumble Bee copper leads, yellow with black strip along length. So what is ya make peoples stereo's crackle ...

I have generally found the spiral core wires alone were not enough to provide rfi suppression.
They do seem to work fine if they are used along with either a resistor plug or a resistor cap. Jim

You could just use resistor plugs to add the additional resistance you need to your wires.

And as far I remember, Iridium plugs are useless with my Dynatek, so forget the NGK BP7rEIX and just fit some std R plugs , yes another plug thread..........here the weather is crap!!!!

hehehe yeah vendors know me as "easy money" but opinions vary if its wasted or not on the pay back. Comnoz reporting the powerac weak spark on dense charge pressures depressed me no end, for a time. I see Plasma ignitions use plain copper leads or special extra layers over the conductive path for suppression and no R value plugs, like on my special but plain ole Trixie wears Peels ole copper Bumble Bee's and no R plugs with the contact breakers. Looking under after dark can be educational and car radio on near by.
