They're a tad too long methinks ,Ideas ?

How much too long? Many routing options around the triple tree.

I really hate it when it's a tad too short.

Cable ties help it snug up to lower frame rail ,then it will bow out from front downtube looking unsightly. If cabletied to front downtube to look neater the rear end of things will droop or not be the desired smooth/straight flow that a cable prefers. Will look at how others route/attach to frame at first opportunity.
