I been looking for some gauges for my 72 Norton and found this set. They indicate they will fit the original pods but not sure if the standard speedo and tacho drives are compatible.. Does anybody know if they are..

Description says "Veglia type". Frankly I suspect that these are the India made repros, not genuine old stock. Could be a gamble in terms of fit and functionality. I can't see the drive ratio on either face, so not sure if they could be used.

I've got a set that I will be removing from my 1970 Commando, if they will work for your bike?

They are sold here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/classicpartsch ... contact-us And ratio's are tach 4:1 and speedo is there also Anybody dealt with them that a bit closer than me.. I did send an email but got an unhelpfull answer ..

There are no studs on the case of the instrument to mount to the stock Norton instrument cups. I'm not sure how you would anchor those.

I prefer stock instruments, but as in everything else I would imagine you get what you pay for..Many aftermarket gauges don't have a history of lasting too long..
