Is dry lube the way to go for the speedo cable. Also I have read to tie the cable to the swing-arm.If I do tthis it would put
a severe bend in my cable.I have not seen any pics on the proper way to route the cable from the clock to the rear axle.I just
tried to make the cable as fluid in shape as possible. thanks for any input

Youd do it well forwards , to stop it slopping around and getting chewed up where all the bits are under there .
a few cable ties along its length .

Check lock to lock its not being minced in the works , or GOES TIGHT .

Excessoil in the top half of the cable can make a mess of your instruments .
If rustproofing the inner & outer with oil , hang em vertical , apart , overnight .Or suchlike .

Get a good angle of the drive unit facing slightly down before you tighten your back axle when aligning the back wheel, and make sure you dont tie wrap the outer so tight it hinders you when aligning the wheel and adjusting the chain.
You can pull the flexible inner out in some instances and lightly lube it before you tighten it all up
Regards Mike
