On my commando there are bar grips which look very like the original product fitted from factory. I have seen these hard look alikes offered from many dealers but I seek originals with their puffy squeezeable grip mainly because I am at the age when my thumb joints play up.
I remember them so well on a T140V I had, can anyone suggest a supplier here in Europe or if need be Worldwide.
I have tried oldtimer parts sales but turned up nothing.
Grateful for any help!

Look up Beston grips on ebay, many are listed. Pick a set of the non-shiney ones as these are the hard types.

I have the Gran Turismo grips from Andover Norton on all my bikes. They look like the originals & are soft & comfy.

Hallo trident sam,
sorry but I didn't understand your text. I am looking for the soft ones, I have seen them all in Ebay, quite a selection

Yes recently got a set from Andover, clones of ye olde Gran Tourismo and they are noticeably soft. No question about it.

I got some 'Grantourismo Brevettata' grips that are nice and soft maybe 10 years ago. They should still be available somewhere. I got mine in the US. I think the early bikes actually had the thin hard grips from the factory. Maybe they changed later? I couldn't find anything with a google search though.

Thank you all, I found through Ebay a dealer here selling 'Beston/Gran Tourismo' even with a cut-away of the grip on his site which I found very helpful.
Should anyone require the address just drop me a line!

I hate those old puffed up plasticky grips with a passion! But I have smallish hands.

For track use I use Renthal medium, but reckon the modern soft rubber Progrip dual density are more comfortable for long distance road use.
