Just listed my MK 3 in the 'for sale' section which breaks my heart but I have no choice. Looking for a good home.

You should resarch selling a kidney in stead, much bigger return on investment, and less painful

Sad. If I win the lottery this weekend I'll send you the money and you can keep the bike. I'll buy a ticket but don't hold your breath..

Finger crossed :D

Id get the Bank Manadger to capitulate . Youve done all the hard work. its the titivation left if you bother .
He / She / It , should be pursuaded its a sound appreciateing investment , security , and a asset .
Perhaps if you arrange to take im on the next club ride , he could consider sponsering more, investing in heritage
History , Nobility and various other things . . They were inane enough to let me borrow for Italian model
competition engines . Tell them a dozen or two is a better idea , Youll make 12 times as much , long term . :D

Sorry this is happening to you. I was quite impressed with your trip, story and the work you put into the bike. I hope things work out for you and it gets better. Keep the forum in mind, we'll keep you in mind.

Thanks for all the kind words. When I get through this deal the FIRST order of business will be to find another MK 3 and do it again :x

Goo,

Assuming your financial situation will eventually change for the better, why not take a loan from someone and use the bike as collateral? You have a nice machine and have done a lot of the hard work already. It would be a shame to lose that....and it will be a lot harder to get back to where you are now in the future.

Yeah, if you could find family or friend who would take the bike and hold it for the money, you would be way ahead. You know you've probably got double that in the bike and it'll will cost as much again.

Easy to give advice when we are not in your shoes...........but ............there doesn't seem to be much out there. What there is, is expensive. Don't know how much you love your current bike and how much you want to own Nortons but it's going to be hard (expensive) to return.

Wishing you the best.

Know what you mean Torontonian, sometimes I find myself sitting by my bike late at night saying the same thing.
