Hi guys,
Having spent many years in Germany we have recently relocated to Singapore for an anticipated 3/4 years. First impressions are all very positive, wonderful country, lovely people and of course, great weather (assuming you like it HOT). However, it appears that owning and riding larger capacity bikes here, especially our type of classics, is very much a rich folks hobby and is practically regulated into non-existence. Am I missing something? Does anyone have any suggestions, recommendations or tips (apart from moving country)? Fortunately I did not try to bring my Commando with me - which apparently would have cost more than its value to import and register here - but both myself and my son would like to ride something interesting here! (Preferably a Norton!) Or possibly in neighboring Malaysia if that is the better proposition?
Appreciate any useful comments.
Rgds Phil
