I am not real happy with the quality or look of my replica Lucas signal lights..... One of the stand offs is already rusting and it isnt two years old yet. I am seriously considering using some of the more compact units that are now available. Such as the ones from CNW or those you see on Ebay...... Would use CNW's NOW if not so costly...... but not sure about those that are available elsewhere. Any recommendations?

Thanks

Got mine from Getgeared in the UK, but small & compact, 21 watt bulbs & nice & bright.

most of the smaller ones are more aesthetically pleasing to the eye than the cnw ones, but I chose the cnw ones because I want crazy soccer moms and texting teenagers to actually see them. They are big, but not too big.

Hey I don't mean to hyjack the thread but "Flo" can you tell me what that blue is you painted your bike with? I love that color!

Now that is what I am talking about! Will they mount to the side of headlamp like the originals?

Thanks

I think the mounting thread is too short to mount like the original Lucas....

What's the current state of affairs with LED turn signals? I'm interested in a 'dual filament' positive ground setup with a CNW mounting arrangement. Anything new out there?

Philippe, was that your Mach III in Garberville a few weeks ago?

These have a 3/4" stud. The stud diameter was a little smaller than stock so to protect the threads in the headlight I put thin wall plastic tube on the stud, threaded them in and put a nut inside the headlight bucket.

I sold my H1 around June 20th... so I do not know what's happening to her?! I was in Garberville on my Can Am on Sat 11th.... back from The lost Coast and on the way to Redding...

I'm also going to be using the Lockhart Phillips signals. I've got a set with clear lenses that I need to adapt to work. I'm doing mine a bit different for the taillight than pmurat did, but they'll look pretty much the same. I can't stand the gigantic Lucas bulbs for some reason. Not sure what it is..
