Shock bushings.

I have several pairs of shocks that appear to be in good condition other than the rubber bushings being deteriorated. I have seen replacement sets on ebay but they are 45$ for the four bushing. They look like they should cost about a buck a piece. That's half the cost of buying new shocks. Has anyone found a cheaper alternative?

I found suitable shock bushing inserts from a local shop delaing in rubber hose and pipe, etc and they only cost about 2-3 euro each.

Watch for the hole size of the metal insert, and that the rubber part may be conical, and of course that there are imperial and metic versions available.
