Having a hard time getting results on U-Ship, Need to get a bike from Loveland CO to Pennsylvania. Can anyone suggest a shipping company thanks

ditto on haulbikes - shipped my 66 spitfire from Wisconsin to Florida. not the cheapest and not the most expensive. took a couple weeks longer than their estimate, but otherwise no issues. i'd use them again.

Keyboard Motorcycle Shippers

J.C. Motors Transportation

I have used each of these two companies exclusively for almost 20 years. 100% excellent results with more than a dozen moves each.

As GP mentioned I too used JC Motors Transport. Nevada to Missouri.
Well handled and the driver went way out of his way to help me get it from truck to shop.

I used USHIP once. It was a vintage trailer from florida to Nevada .
I used the second cheapest bid because it was suppose to be quicker to get picked up.
the guy picked it up to haul with a pickup .
he got to texas and called me because he had no money to buy gas to get the rest of the way .
I let him try for 2 days but he could not raise the money .
I had paid a lot for this trailer .
I decided to send him the 300 dollars thru Walmart and he promised to deliver within 24 hours .
he did deliver next day , trailer was in great shape . He had not slept in it .
when he arrived , I asked him to back it into my hanger . He shut off his truck , climbed underneath it to put it in reverse. yikes !
he seemed like a nice guy , just down on his luck and trying to survive.
I called uship to release his money , the said to me follow me to get the money and he would pay me back .
I said , I think you need it more than me , the trailer was intact , and I was ok with the extra cost and hope this helps you a bit .
I asked him where are going now , back to TEXAS .
I said I had a 7 ft long turbine engine canister that needs to go to Ft worth . He said he would take it .
I asked how much and he said , I am going they there and would not take any money . KARMA .
he delivered it there next day . It would have cost me more than 300 to send it there.
what I learned was that USHIP ,( read the fine print ) is not responsible in any way. I will likely never use them again .
I did try twice after that to call the driver directly but never received a reply.

Thanks Going with Haul bikes not the cheapest but most professional $15,000 insurance with no deductible $749 20 day delivery time max

I tried them once, the scruffy driver in a scruffier 70s van with 8 dogs in it, pulling an OPEN ramshackle trailer, loaded up the pristine restored Triumph Bonneville, tied it down with a combination of ropes and old tie-downs tied with knots, drove off puking oil smoke. The bike did arrive, more or less "on time" (they don't guarantee time, because they use "independent contractors").

NEVER again, no matter how cheap.

Scam Alert!!! A u-ship driver tried to scam the shop owner where MY Norton is waiting to ship. A U ship driver contacted the shop, Said he was picking it up but didn't have my phone number. I had e-mail conversation with a driver but told him he could not pick it on on Monday, nor did we agree on price or any type of contract. After other post here I went with Haul Bikes!

Not trying to advocate for uShip. I've done many motorcycle moves arranged via them and have never had a complaint. It's important to understand that they ship NOTHING. Some things to realize:

1) They provide connectivity between shippers and those needing shipping done and they control the money. They have no control over your shipment being damaged or stolen - insurance is wise.
2) The first offers will generally be big companies wanting big money.
3) Works best there is no hurry. I recently bought a LOT of stuff from FL. I corresponded with the shipper many times before agreeing to the deal and that was about eight days after I originally listed the shipment. I paid very little for three motorcycles and seven large bins of parts ($450 + the uShip fee if I remember right). It worked out for the shipper and me because he was in FL and needed to go home to PA and I was only an 16 mile detour for him. Another time the guy was in MI and was heading to southern VA - he brought me two bikes from MI for $550 plus the uShip fee.
4) U-Ship charges the receiver quite a bit and the shipper twice as much - they make a LOT for their effort and it's a quite simple web site and nothing more that I can tell.

I've done TX to VA once , MI to VA multiple times, FL to VA multiple times, MN to VA once and TN to VA once.

I've written down the recommendations here - I would love to have one company to deal with each time. I've never been able to use the same shipper twice so it is a little scary each time.

Sold a used 4x4 ATV to a guy in Jersey, (I listed it on local Craigslist here) and his chosen shipper, Uship arrived with an 18 wheel car hauler. Clearly it was too small to straddle the steel ramps for cars. They stuffed it in there. Wheels were pummeled. Jersey boy was fighting mad, threatening, etc.
I blew up his e-mail box with maximum file size damning images of his shippers loaded vehicle for days. :p
A pain in my ass.

I am currently looking for a shipper myself but many refuse to come to Montana. I am curious, the bike you want shipped in Loveland, Colo. is not a 1970 Roadster with a serial # of 137706 is it ? My wife and I were the 1st owners of that one and have been looking for it for many years. She really wants it back. Our 51st Anniversary is tomorrow so that would be cool if it was that one and you were willing to sell. I bought it in northern Colo. so it could be that she has sat there for so many years.

Haul Bikes was the most professional Not the cheapest But I have confidence in what they told me. Will Post end results. No, this is a 2015 961but there are several members in the area that might own you old Norton Also look in the Norton registry you might find it Good luck

No idea, I can't get them to Pennsylvania at a decent delivery time. And yes I did pay the bill!!!!
