good to see it working out Philippe, and I take it your recovery and p/t are progressing as well.
When I was 22, I was broadsided by a slob in a buick. almost lost my left leg, its about 95% today, just a few aches (good thing it wasn't my kickstart one). looking forward to seeing that bike on the road.
Cheers,
Don

Very nice looking finish there prmurat, one talented guy doing the paint for you. Could you let us know a few of the finer details like, type of transfers, slides or vinyl and clear over them etc?

The paint looks very nice indeed. The misery of the previously fouled up paint will now quickly fade away.

the transfers are vinyl and...it shows!! If you lookf very closely there is an "edge" at the end of the transfer just as if the cutter was a little old and "crunched" the vinyl more than cut it. Even with 3 coats of clear it is still visible... from very close, but it was the only ones available at Raber's. Me think water decals will be the way to go for a concour bike.
Today the inside of the fenders has been rubber coated to dampn the noise and save the fenders from stones etc... the rear SS fender looks great in green just as the front CNW one (and the CNW chain guard too)!!
Guess the bike will be great!
Proud Daddy!

How many coats of clear over the color?

From what I understood: a couple over the paint then decals... and 2 to 3 over the decal. I'll take pictures later: tank is still at my friend's: I guess he wants to put a coating inside: with all the welding, cutting and banging he is afraid of some later problems so... Caswell it is! and he wants to install the airplane type gas cap... my one left hand only (I am right handed of course!) is not to be trusted with tools these days!

Sorry for the delay, I wanted the Caswell to be dry (why did I put it before the paint??? )

That tank looks super. The white just pops, has a very durable and nice smooth shine to it and the gas cap is a real bonus.
