Seat loop

Hi again everyone sorry for hogging the board with all my questions but this is my first triton, I have been looking at seat loops as I am awaiting an extended hump seat from TAB11 and would like to know what the butterfly is for the only thing I can imagine is mudguard fixing am I correct or is there another purpose many thanks Chris

You are correct. It is for the mudguard/fender.
