Im looking for seat cover clips, cover kits include them along with the cover
and the bottom strip surround but nobody seems to offer them alone. My cover
is fine my clips are rusted.
Any leads here?

Not sure what they look like and I have had the seat off many times. Bring the seat to an upholstery shop. They may have what you need. Also, try the places that sell the covers and ask very nicely if you can buy a set for your restoration.

I believe Don Harrell has these clips. Here's a contact.

Walridge might sell you the parts. I don't think they are anything exotic.

$14, you've got to be kidding. You can have my old ones if you want to clean them up, there's some rust on them. That's if I can find them.

I suggest getting the new ones as they will be (or should be) fresh, clean, and not bent back into shape several times and thus may hold.

Thanks for the responses! I must say I bridle some at the 1.25 USD a piece, but
the truth is that the dollar is worthless and ebay gets a hefty bite of the action from
the seller.
Some of mine have simply fallen apart so I agree that I probably best shut up and
stump up.
Have asked a few vendors and it was "no parts just kit".

Walridge has the chrome or black plastic strip, 60-696, $24.50, I bet he'd sell you the clips too.

I can't remember if Old Britts told me that they had some when I purchased my seat cover, you might try them if you haven't already. Steadfast lists them as well and at only 13 bucks, but you only get 5 for that!

I've purchased clips kit and trim strip from Walridge before. The clips rust out eventually and the chrome splits /cracks off on the strip as soon as any overweight passenger plops their fat ass on the back. My next seat will be upholstery shop , no pleats please ,no clips please, no trimstrips. And sculpted by yours truly to my delicate little butt profile in hard foam not medium or soft.

Sounds good I ll give him a call.
Seems to me the BSA seats used knock out little triangles that
punctured the fabric. These eventually broke off too. Ive seen
pop rivets used. Also putting a piece of tubing, split, on to
the edge of the seat pan helps reduce slit through. Hard foam
is better. I use it on my boat, you can sit for hours comfortably.
