All the best to Yves and his family , good vibes on way from Nova Scotia for quick , excellent recovery ...

Wow, that is very bad news on the one hand, but very glad it was not worse; so good news he is alive and should recover. Please pass along our prayers and thoughts for Yves and his dear wife, hopefully there will be enough people local to them to support the tough road they will be on. Our hope is that he recovers fully, quickly, and comfortably.

Sorry I no longer have anything of any use to assist with rebuilding his bike. If someone can set up a "Go Fund Me" program for them, I am happy to contribute.

Thank you Bruno, for your care and consideration.

Good idea GP.

Setting up something Like that is beyond me, but I’d also happily contribute if someone else does so.

Yves,
We are looking forward to hear the news about your recovery as soon as possible. I wish you and your wife all the best. This is even more important than any condition of your bike.

Thank you for letting us all know, Bruno. Please pass condolences and best wishes for a speedy recovery from all of us to Yves, and let him know how much we value his cheerful and enthusiastic participation on the forum. If there is a way for us to help, I'm sure most of us will be more than happy to do so.

Ken

Yves,
Dreadful news my friend, from experience stay focused and positive you'll pull through.
I wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Vraiment désolé d'apprendre cette nouvelle. Bruno, merci de lui transmettre nos encouragements pour sortir de ce très mauvais pas, et notre amitié.

Laurent

I never met you Yves but feel I know the spirit of the man from your posts

Get well soon

Sincere best wishes for a speedy recovery – I experienced something very like this twice in my life, so my heart goes out to you Yves!

Very sad to hear, hoping everyone takes extra care riding with the change in seasons upon us

Thanks to all of you for your very kind messages.

Today's news are not good.
According to his doctors, Yves is in critical condition with his vital prognosis engaged for the next 10 days; he is very weak and would not be able to withstand surgery for the time being. He has been a very heavy smoker all his life which adds to the problem.

He has always been a fighter.

Please keep sending positive thoughts, they matter.
