Rotor Spacer & Shims

I'm about to pop the primary side together so I checked the 72 parts list to check the order of assembly. Sprocket, shims then spacer.
I looked at the '71 parts list and its the other way round. Sprocket, spacer then shims.
Does it matter the order of assembly? I thought all 750s were identical in this area.

The spacer has recess to clear the crank key way so shims get in the way doing the wrong way.
